Flowjam makes launch videos for AI companies. When a startup comes out of stealth, announces a product, or reintroduces itself, we make the film that makes the internet pay attention, then run the coordinated launch push behind it. We work with a small number of companies at a time and go deep on each one.
We're hiring a Head of Production to own launches end to end.
What you'll own
- The client, from signed proposal to launch day. You're the single point of contact once a deal is signed. You join calls, run the kickoff, and make founders feel they're in the best possible hands.
- The script. You turn a founder's messy thesis into a tight, sharp 60–90 second story with a real hook and a clear CTA.
- The timeline. You own the schedule from script to storyboard to shoot to post to go-live, and you chase everyone on it. Launches are date-locked; nothing slips on your watch.
- The shoot. You're there, producing on the day and helping direct.
- The fires. You catch the problem before the client ever sees it.
- The team. You set the standard, unblock the editors and animators, and get the best work out of everyone.
You're a fit if you
- Have 3+ years producing short-form, branded or commercial video, and have shipped work clients paid real money for.
- Are genuinely excellent on client calls — warm, confident, professional. This is non-negotiable.
- Can write. Not a novelist, but you can shape a founder's story into a script that lands.
- Are ruthless about timelines and have juggled multiple projects without dropping a ball.
- Are online, responsive, and calm when things go sideways.
- Have taste — you can look at a cut and say exactly why it's not good enough yet.
Nice to have: comfort on set, a feel for the AI/startup world, and an instinct for distribution (a great video is only half the job).
How we work
Remote-first, fast-moving, high standards. We'd likely start you on a paid trial project — one real launch — before a full-time offer, because one shoot tells us more than five interviews.
How to apply
Hit apply and tell us about a launch or film you produced that you're proud of, and why. Send a reel or portfolio if you have one.
