Flowjam makes launch videos for AI companies. When a startup comes out of stealth, ships a product or reintroduces itself, we make the film that gets the internet to pay attention, then run the launch push behind it. Our films have done 39 million views with no media budget behind them.
Motion is a big part of what makes those films land. Product UI that feels alive, type that hits on the beat, diagrams that make a hard idea obvious in two seconds. We need more people who can do that.
We're hiring several motion designers
This isn't one seat. We're building a bench of motion designers and taking on more than one, across three ways of working:
- Full-time. On the team, on every launch.
- Part-time. A set number of days a week, every week.
- Freelance. Project by project, when a launch fits your schedule.
Tell us which suits you when you apply. If you're open to more than one, say so.
What you'll do
- Animate launch films. Product UI, kinetic type, explainer graphics and transitions for 60 to 90 second films that go out under founders' names.
- Work from storyboards to final. Take an approved board and script and turn it into finished, polished motion.
- Make the product look as good as it is. Recreate and animate real software interfaces so they read cleanly on a phone screen.
- Move fast without dropping the bar. Launches are date-locked, and the finish has to hold up next to the best work on the internet.
You're a fit if you
- Have a reel of motion work you're proud of, ideally including product or UI animation.
- Know After Effects inside out. Figma, Cinema 4D, Blender or Rive are a bonus.
- Have strong taste in timing, easing and type.
- Take feedback well and turn revisions around quickly.
- Are online and responsive when a launch is close.
Nice to have: experience with tech or startup brands, sound design instincts, or 3D.
